“You don’t need to be better than anyone else, you just need to be better than you used to be.”

My passion for health and fitness came from when I use to race motocross as a kid. I found that I really loved the training aspect of the sport and use to spend hours researching different styles of training and programming and writing them down in a note book. From that I knew I had this passion for training and bettering myself.

After I decided I wanted to work in the fitness industry, I spent years working odd labouring jobs to be able to afford the education I needed to become an exercise professional. Once qualified and after a period of meeting and working with a range incredible people, I got introduced to the world of bodybuilding.

I quickly developed a passion for bodybuilding and a strong interest in competing. So, in 2017 I decided I would compete in my first bodybuilding competition, I choose to do this alone without a coach. For a few reasons, but the main one being out of curiosity. I wanted to see what I could do myself without any help. In the end I managed to place 3rd and 5th in my very first show. From that day on I was hooked and couldn’t wait to be on stage again and see how much I could improve.
So, I decided I needed extra help and got myself a coach who I’m still working with today, former IFBB Professional Mr Mike Debenham. Mike has helped me improve so much over the past couple years and I’m so glad I sought help, because it has made me a better athlete and a more knowledgeable and experienced coach myself. And in September 2019 I placed 2nd and 4th at the IFBB Pro League Queensland state show.

My ultimate goal is to become a IFBB Pro Bodybuilder in the Men’s Physique category, and I will keep working until I achieve it. I started KFP Fitness at the end of 2015 and went on to work in a few commercial gyms over the next couple of years, where I learnt a lot about the fitness industry and business. Then in late 2017 I decided to start my own private 1 on 1 personal training studio. I wanted to create an environment where people could workout without being judged or feeling insecure. A place where you could focus on your goals without any distractions, it’s just you and your trainer. This decision has by far been the best and most rewarding decision I’ve ever made.

I absolutely love my job and what I do, and love seeing my clients succeed and achieve their goals. I take my clients successes very personally as if they were my own. For that reason, I will always go above and beyond for my clients and will do everything I can to ensure everyone achieves their goals and creates a better version of themselves.
